One thing I always get asked about is plus size lingerie. From granny pants to t-shirt bras, with a side of sexy lingerie. It’s the foundation of any good outfit and I like to wear lingerie that makes me feel great – whether it’s under my work clothes or getting dressed up for a hot date. Not because I’m dressing for someone else, but because I’m dressing to make myself feel like a sassy, confident goddess.
Yours Clothing
Yours Clothing has everything from bras and underwear to babydolls, chemises and robes. Whether you’re looking for something for everyday or for a special occasion, they’ve got a great selection with sizes 16-40 with bras up to a 50J.
ASOS
ASOS was the first online store I ever shopped at, and they have some super cute lingerie options including bras, underwear, teddies and babydolls (plus if you’re after PJs they always have a great selection). ASOS’s lingerie ranges from size 12-30 and bra sizes 14B-26G.
Taking Shape
Well known Australian brand Taking Shape has recently branched out to offer lingerie, with both underwire and non-underwire bra options, plus some cute lounge bras that would perfect for wearing on a lazy Sunday. They have sizes 14-24 and cup sizes C-F.
City Chic
I’m pretty sure you’re all be familiar with City Chic – they’re one of the most popular dedicated plus size clothing stores here in NZ. As well as clothes, they also have a range of lingerie including bras and knickers, bustiers and babydolls, tights and thongs. My friend Glam tells me their bras are super comfy, and they go from size 12-24 with cup sizes B-G.
Other options for plus size lingerie:
Ashley Stewart: US size 12-26 (cup size C-G) with every day bras and underwear as well as lingerie, hosiery and swimwear (and clothing).
Autograph: Size 14-26 (cup size C-G) with every day bras and underwear as well as lingerie, hosiery, swimwear and sleepwear (and clothing).
Avenue: Size US 14-32 (cup size B-DDD) with every day bras and underwear as well as chemises and hosiery. Not a lot of choice in terms of cup size but great if you’re on the smaller side. They also have a great selection of clothing.
Avokado: Size 6-24 (cup size D-K). This is where I get most of my bras from and they also have underwear, swimwear, and a few babydolls. They have an Auckland based store as well as online.
Bare Necessities: US size 28-56 (cup size B-N) plus XS to 4X in some items with everyday and sexy lingerie including teddies, babydolls, corsets and robes.
Bendon: Size 8-24 (cup size A-J), plenty of plus size bras and underwear for everyday (plus size really only goes up to a G cup). I like the Fayreform brand and if you can find an outlet store they regularly do “everything under $20” sales.
Curvy by Bras N Things: Size 6-26 (cup size B-K), everything from everyday to sport to maternity bras! They also have underwear and swimwear, and they have quite a good range of brands including Curvy Kate.
Ewa Michalak: Size 30A-42JJ with loads of bras, briefs and babydolls. The sizing on this site has always confused me a bit but Rachel has bras from here and loves them – check out her posts on this brand.
Farmers: Sizing is a bit limited in plus (14-26 C-DD) but they have great options for everyday (nothing sexy though, sorry babes!). I love the Lyric Plus range for cotton briefs.
Figleaves: Size 6-28 and bras 28-54 (cup size A-K). They have sports bras, everyday bras and knickers and styles that are a little bit sexy from loads of brands including my favourite Elomi.
Hips & Curves: Size L to 6X (US 14-28 / NZ 18-32). Plus size lingerie for every day, sexy lingerie, fantasy outfits … you name it. They did ship internationally in the past but now only offer shipping to US and Canada – perhaps use a freight forwarding service like YouShop for this one if you’re in NZ.
Lane Bryant: US size 10-34 and bras 36-54 (cup size B-H). They’ve got bras, underwear, sexy lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear as well as clothing.
Lovehoney: Size 4-26 with sexy lingerie, body stockings, corsets, hosiery etc.
Nordstrom: Size US 0-28 (NZ 4-32) with options from everyday undies to sexier lingerie.
Rich Lingerie: Size 6-26 (cup size C-K) with pretty everyday lingerie and swimwear.
Rose & Thorne: Size 10-24 (cup size A-G). It’s no secret that I’m a big Rose & Thorne fan – their everyday lingerie is absolutely stunning and I have a drawer filled with their midi shorts because they’re super comfy.
The Big Tights Company: Size 12-42. They have super comfy stockings (including thigh highs) as well as underwear and anti chafing shorts.
Torrid: US size 12-28 (cup size B-G) with both everyday and sexy bras and underwear, slips, bustiers, chemises, garters… and clothing as well.
Zodee: Size 8-26 (cup size A-J) bras, underwear and swimwear.

Hi Meagan, I love your blog! This is not off-topic but perhaps sidestep-topic? Do you know of any companies that sell plus size lingerie in a direct marketing kind of way? I’ve just launched a new blog about (among other things) body positivity and I’d really like to get into selling plus size lingerie but I do not have time to make my own products as I have done in the past. So I’m wondering if there’s anything like the younique system but for plus size lingerie. Do you know of anything like this?
Hi! No I don’t know of any MLM lingerie companies sorry. MLM is not a marketing system I support (for many reasons, mostly because of the continued harassment I’ve received from Younique, Arbonne, Jamberry and other reps who won’t take no for an answer), so I’m probably not the best person to ask! Perhaps Google could turn something up for you?
Hey one of my favourite places to browse is Hips and Curves in the US. Gorgeous lingerie for every occasion, pretty well prices and really well fitting! 🙂
They’re great aren’t they? My wishlist there is a mile long!
Brastop in the uk
Try Bravissimo – UK based, ship to NZ for £7.95. Great brands and sexy every day wear. Virtually all of my lingerie comes from them.
Hey Hilary, someone else recommended their site as well, but from what I can see when I try to sort by size they don’t do plus sizes? They go up to back size 40 (which is an 18 here). Am I looking in the wrong place?
I’m a size 24 top and bottom, however bra back size is a 16 (38). It’s important to remember that our top size is often much larger than our true back size for lingerie. I’m definitely plus-size and their lingerie (Bravissimo) is perfect for me.
As a general rule I don’t feature companies on here that only go up to a size 18 (which is the usual end point for straight size ranges) because not only do they not cater for the majority of my readers, they also don’t cater for me! Glad you’ve managed to find something there that works for you though 🙂
Lovehoney is pretty good. I got a cute babydoll and thong set and got a free lace robe with it.
Ooh, thanks for the tip hun – they look like they have some nice stuff on there
100% Avokado – I’d be lost without that shop!!
They’re great aren’t they? I even bought my bikini top from there!
Rich Lingerie on Pah Road in Epsom is amazing. They stock up to size 26 from C-K cup. Theresa is fantastic and always does a fitting so ‘the girls’ are well supported :o)
That’s pretty close to me, I’ll have to pop in thanks Deb!
Rich Lingerie, Greenswood Corner, Auckland. Theresa is a total professional with bra fitting.
I’m hearing good things about Rich Lingerie, will have to pay them a visit
Hi Megan. I have been buying Total Woman knickers from Zodee. I find a full brief more comfortable and this brand has a lovely range. Zodee.com is the website
Awesome, thanks for the tip Andrea – I’ll add Zodee to the list. What is shipping time and sizing like?
