I’m sure by now you’ve seen a few pieces from Australian boutique fashion label Nyata on my blog (like this one and this one). Their clothes are fun, glamorous and beautiful, and designed to make you feel beautiful – whether you’re a size 8 or a size 28.
Nyata (which means real in Indonesian) does what most labels don’t – it bridges the gap between straight and plus sizing with a size range from 8-30 (or beautiful to stunning on Nyata’s size chart!), and embraces diversity in all body shapes and types. Their body positive outlook and their promotion of the fact that all women are real, equally deserving to look and feel their best every day.
This month Nyata has launched their We All Fit Real campaign, designed to celebrate all women and encourages them to realise both their own greatness and share the greatness of the women in their lives. “Real” does not have to be just about your body, it can be anything in your life that you are proud of, makes you feel happy and confident, and brings out your inner sparkle. It asks women to think about others in their life who inspire them, and share what it is that makes them real.

To join the We All Fit Real movement, upload a photo of yourself on Facebook or Instagram and tell Nyata what your real is, and/or nominate and upload a photo of a woman in your life that inspires you, and share what their real is to you. Make sure you include the #weallfitreal hashtag, and tag in @nyatadesigns.
The campaign is sponsored by Natural Supply Co, Berry Skinny, Someday In May, (h)AZE eyewear, LinaJane Beauty and Nyata – all businesses that are run by women, that promote positive health, wellbeing and confidence through their products. One sponsor will be featured each day this week, giving you the chance to win some amazing prizes – make sure you tag that day’s sponsor into your post as well! You can find all the details over at Nyata’s Facebook page.
My real is … finding an appreciation for every single part of my body, and helping other women find appreciation for their bodies.

I really do think it’s really fabulous they offer sizes up to a 30 and start at an 8. It’s great that it’s not just a thing specifically for plus sizes. The thing I have issue with is the campaign shows three conventionally attractive women, the largest of whom is probably a what… 14? 16 at a stretch?
Representation matters. If they’re real on celebrating more women, why isn’t the official campaign more representative?
Hey Adelaide – these photos show women who are in the middle of that size range, who also happen to be the models for this season’s range – including Amber Gwynn, whose label this is. While I agree that representation is important, I think that questions about model selections are better directed to Nyata (you can find their Facebook page here) – I’m sure they’d love to hear your feedback directly!
Don’t get me wrong, I think the range is great and I really like that there is variation in the sizes of the women shown. I think you just got me on a bad day as this topic in general is one that grates me, sorry lady. I wasn’t meaning to vent at you!
On a brighter note, I really love your blog and I’ve been reading for quite a while now, I’ve just never commented. I think you’re fabulous!
