Florals are usually more of a summer trend, but I’ve decided that you can add tights and a cardigan or a blazer to anything and make it winter-suitable. Finding nice floral pieces in plus sizes is not the easiest task, as so many floral prints come off looking nana-ish or like they belong on a sofa, so I’ve done the hard yards and found you ten of my floral faves.
I love how bright this is. Bodycon is not for the faint hearted, as it is very figure-hugging, but I’d be willing to give this a go! Oh look, and it’s on special for $66.81 – it’d be rude not to…
These are mega cute. I would wear two of these on one finger, like in this recent photo shoot by Caitlin Louise Photography (keep an eye out for this photographer, she is amazing).
I love the floral detailing on this dress, it’s subtle and sweet and a great way of breaking up a black garment.
This oh-so pretty tunic combines a whole bunch of my favourite things – floral, stripe and baroque print.
This slip dress reminds me of a top I had in the ’90s. I don’t know what happened to it, but now I really want this dress…
I’m loving the super bright floral print combined with black – it makes the colours really pop!
This jacket nails two trends in one – floral and monochrome.
I’m such a sucker for a blush pink bag, and I like the floral detailing on this bag. It’s on sale at the moment for $23.23, what a bargain!
I think white really pops in winter, so this blue and white print dress would be perfect with black tights and a blazer.
I love this dainty floral print! Be sure to pair it with a plain top so that you don’t end up looking like a piece of furniture – there is such a thing as “too busy”!
Are you wearing florals this winter? What’s your favourite piece in the gallery?
