Feeling blue with the change in weather? Whether you love navy, cyan or royal blue, there is a hue for everyone this season! Here are some of my fave picks for autumn…
I’m loving 17 Sundays’ shirt dresses right now! This comfortable yet chic style is a great way to ease your wardrobe in to the cooler months.
This skirt is a super lightweight floaty chiffon that is ultra feminine and reminiscent of the carefree days of summer. I bought this in another colour and recommend that if you’re choosing between two sizes you should go for the larger one, as the waistband is zip, not stretch.
You either love peplum or you hate it, and if you love it you’re in luck! The peplum style is so popular that it will be with us for a long time yet…
Leggings that look like skinny jeans but are infinitely more comfortable? Yes please, sign me up!
Still stuck in the mindset that fat girls shouldn’t wear stripes? I think we have well and truly put the kibosh on that one, haven’t we? Love this dress, get yourself amongst that stripe action…
Yes, I’m still obsessed with this skirt #sorrynotsorry. You’ve seen me wear it (multiple times), so now it’s about time you got one of your own (I’ve ordered another in pink, that’s seriously how much I love this skirt…).
Feeling bold? Switch out that black blazer for a blue one! It’s said that blue projects an image of someone who is calm, in control, stable, trust-worthy, honest, confident and secure, so if you’re going for a job interview this could definitely work in your favour (worth a try, right?).
Autumn and winter are all about wearing layers (remember? I talked about that here), and this 3/4 sleeved tee is perfect for layering!
My friend Katie (from SpijkerKat’s Closet) wears these tunics quite often and looks amazing in them! I still haven’t made it to City Chic to try one on though, perhaps that can be my autumn task. Have you tried the City Chic Zip Front Pleat Tunics? Let me know what you think of them!
If there was ever a denim jacket you needed to own, this is that jacket. Perfect for throwing over your fave summer outfits for a little bit more coverage over autumn, and très chic!
What’s your favourite shade of blue? I’m definitely partial to navy, myself!
xo Meagan
I love my zip tunics too! I have black, royal blue, fuchsia as well as a monochrome patterned one. They are so versatile!
Okay, definitely going to try one on!!! xo
Thank you so much for helping me shop, I’m size 16 and as you would know most stores stop at size 14, you have no idea how much help you are to me <3 Keep it up xx
You’re more than welcome Sarah! Have you seen my Plus Size Fashion Directory? It has a whole bunch of great places you can shop! xo
I love and live in CC zip up tunics!!! My favourites!!! Frequently wear them as dresses too hahahaha
