Autumn in Auckland means that the weather changes a lot. Sometimes it’s super hot and humid, and you can wear sleeveless dresses or pop on your bikini and swim in the ocean. And sometimes it’s bitterly cold and you want to wear all of the warm cosy layers. I definitely had autumn weather in mind when I was spending my Torrid cash!
If you’re not familiar with Torrid Cash (it used to be called Haute Cash), you accrue it when you shop – you get $25 Torrid Cash for every $50 you spend. Then during certain periods, you can redeem it – a $25 Torrid Cash coupon for each $50 you spend on full-price items. So, it makes it a good time to pick up some pieces for a great discount!

I’ve been hunting for a maxi dress just like this for the longest time. I’m so excited that I have found exactly what I’m looking for. Unfortunately it’s at the wrong end of summer, so I’ll have to wear it as much as possible while the weather is still warm, and plan how I’m going to wear this dress when it cools down. I’m thinking stockings, boots and a biker style jacket.
One of my other favourite pieces from this haul is definitely the trousers with the paperbag waist. They are so incredibly comfortable! The fabric is super thick so I’ll have to wait for the weather to cool down a lot before I wear them. I know they’ll be worth the wait.
I love summer, and swimming in the ocean but once I start to feel the autumn chill it gets me excited for all things cosy. I’m looking forward to snuggly jumpers, warm leggings, crispy leaves, and endless cups of herbal tea.
What season do you enjoy most?
Let me know which of the pieces I picked out is your favourite!

Love love love that floral top, you looks so gorgeous in it. The blue dress is really nice.
Did you know that The Warehouse have brought in some larger clothing sizes in some items. They go to a 6XL, where as they only went to 4XL before.
Also it took them a long time but I brought some T-shirt nighties about 6 months ago and was surprised to finally see they have now added in 4XL and 5XL in some of them. I complained a few years ago to them that they sell ladies clothes up to 28 or 4XL, why can’t they sell night wear in these sizes too.
Thanks Fiona! Yes, The Warehouse has been working on increasing their range in both mens and womenswear up to a 6XL for a while now! I can’t wait to see those size options available in ALL pieces!
