When I first saw this jacket in my Instagram feed I knew I needed it in my life. You know when you see a piece of clothing and just know that it’s meant to be? Anyway, I asked how it stacked up against the rain (because finding a weatherproof plus size jacket has proven really hard) and the 17 Sundays team described it as Melbourne proof. Knowing that Auckland and Melbourne are pretty similar climates, I figured it would be perfect for my needs so when they asked if I wanted to road test the Cartel Hooded Jacket in New Zealand for them, I jumped at the chance. Rebel Wilson x Angels at Zebrano
I always find myself getting a wee bit jealous when cool new lines of clothing are released overseas and they are hard (if not impossible) to access in New Zealand. One such line has been the Rebel Wilson x Angels range, which launched in mid-2017, and I’m really excited to share that it’s now not only available in New Zealand but it’s in store – you can actually try it on. This is a BIG deal, and I’m really excited that Zebrano are now stocking this line. I headed in store to check out the range (and try it on, of course), and report back to you on what I think of it. My workwear picks
I get so many people asking me where to find plus size workwear that I thought I’d scout out some ideas for you. As you know, I work from home and my days of dressing for the office are over, but I do really enjoy helping other people finding clothes they feel confident and awesome in, so let’s do this.
There are a lot of different dress codes out there when it comes to office outfits – some people have to have their shoulders covered; some must wear a suit; some can be as out there as they like. Then there’s the combination of what you want to wear – a blouse and tailored trousers, a skirt with a top, a blazer, a matching suit, a dress, with stockings or without? View Post
Why you should invest in your wardrobe
Brought to you by Zebrano
Since spring cleaning my closet this year, I have tried to be more conscious of the things I’m adding in. Rather than spending small amounts of money often on things that will wear out quickly or will only last a season, I’m choosing things that will last a long time. Sometimes these things will cost a little bit more, and I need to save up for them – but trust me, the decision to invest in your wardrobe is one worth making. View Post
Trend Tip: Summer Style
The weather is warming up, so I thought I’d put together some of my fave pieces to keep cool in while still looking hot! This seemed like a great idea at the time, but now I just want a whole bunch of things while I’m on a self-imposed shopping ban. Oh the torture!
