My trip to Melbourne last month was so much fun! I’ve told you about the fashion shows I attended and the shopping I did, so I thought I’d share some of the other fun things I did while I was in Melbourne (including the most epic hot chocolate I’ve ever seen). View Post
Keep calm and carry on
Brought to you by Warehouse Money
My trip to Melbourne is just around the corner (I fly out this weekend), and now that I have my travel plans sorted it is time to think about what I’m packing. Clothes are pretty easy, I planned my outfits as soon as I knew for sure that I was going (which might sound excessive but I was doing a wardrobe clearout and wanted to make sure I had all the things I wanted to wear squirrelled away safely). What’s important to me is what goes in my carry on bags – the bits and pieces I will have to keep my comfortable and entertained for my flight. View Post
Making travel plans
Brought to you by Warehouse Money
In just a few weeks I’m going to be heading off on my first ever overseas trip by myself, so while the weather is cold and wet, I am making travel plans. I’ve been travelling solo around NZ for years but it seems like a much bigger deal when you’re going overseas. This is really the first time I’ve travelled abroad as an adult (while I was in my 20’s last time, it doesn’t count because my dad took care of all the details), and I really wanted to share this with you in case you might be new to travelling as well! Relaxing in Rotorua
Whenever people talk about Rotorua, I’m used to hearing about what an amazing place it is for adventure – you can go zorbing, rafting, mountain biking, you name it. However, when I’m on holiday relaxation is the name of the game, so when we went down to Rotorua last month I was on a mission to find some things to do that were more my speed. View Post
Roadtrip Tips
You all know how much I love a good roadtrip, right? One of the things I want to do this year is see more of my own country, so roadies are a must. The drive down to Rotorua is one of my favourites because the scenery is so beautiful – especially driving through the Kaimai-Mamaku Forest Park. And at the end of the drive is one of my favourite spots of all, The Redwoods in Whakarewarewa Forest. View Post
