I’ve seen so many people rocking Lady Voluptuous Lyra dresses that I knew this was a style I had to try for myself. Everyone I’ve seen wearing one has looked bloody amazing no matter what size or shape they are, which to me is a sign of an amazing design. View Post
Sweet Ambrosia
Have you ever put on a dress and immediately felt absolutely amazing in it? That’s how I felt the minute I shimmied into the Ambrosia dress from IGIGI. When I looked at it on their website I thought it was beautiful, but I’ll admit that it took a moment of bravery to order it. It’s curve hugging and it leaves no room to hide: to me it’s a bold dress. I almost chickened out and chose something else, but I’m so glad I went with this, because it honestly makes me feel like a million bucks. View Post
Woodland Fairy
One thing I’ve noticed sneaking back in to fashion lately is bell sleeves and I just wanted to say that I, for one, am pretty damn happy about it. I remember seeing them as a teenager and I have loved them ever since – there is just something so wistful and dreamy about them, and that makes them perfect for light floaty summer pieces like this dress. Can I wear black to a wedding?
Wedding season is coming up and with it comes a question I get asked every year – “can I wear black to a wedding?”. Tradition states that wearing black to a wedding is a no no, apparently because it’s the colour of mourning and means that you don’t approve of the marriage. Sounds a bit passive-aggressive if you ask me! View Post
