Earlier this week I was complaining that I didn’t have anything pink in my wardrobe other than the sad representation I hauled out for the last pink week. Fortunately, Katie from SpijkerKat’s Closet reminded me of the peplum I got recently! So glad that someone else knows the contents of my closet so well (also, pretty sure that means it’s time to clean out some of the things in there)…

So you might have noticed that this post is really late. Like, only just making it in time to join the Aussie Curves linky kind of late. That’s because this week has been crazy busy for me and I didn’t get a chance to shoot these photos until today. And then I went and hung out with my friends, because taking time to chill out and wind down is extremely important!

For a long time, I’d buy whatever fit me and was cheap because there really weren’t a lot of plus size options where I lived that weren’t super expensive and I hadn’t discovered internet shopping yet. Consequently, I didn’t really have any personal style as such. Now, I’m more likely to spend more on quality garments that I really like, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love to hunt for a bargain that also looks fab on me! View Post
WIWT: The NZFW 2013 Edition (Day 4)
Yesterday was the last day of New Zealand Fashion Week for media, and the second to last show I’ll be attending this week. The Miromoda show was the one I’ve been most looking forward to this week – so much so that on Tuesday I even had my nails done in honour of DMONIC INTENT’s collection (which they showed in the Miromoda showcase yesterday)! This is what I wore to the Miromoda showcase, which is a celebration of the amazing talent of our up and coming Maori designers:
WIWT: Date Night
My boyfriend has worked for pretty much the last month without any days off, so we both took some time off yesterday to go on an epic 7 hour date that involved lots of eating, mini golf, a romantic stroll and a visit to the cinema. This is what I wore (more about the rest of the date later…)
