Spring is here, and with it comes florals. There are new flowers blooming (and if you live somewhere like me where the wind is unpredictable, they are also scattered all over the ground), and floral prints are hitting shop floors as well. Florals don’t have to mean small Laura Ashley prints – they can be as big, bold and abstract as you want – and in my case, yes you can wear florals on a black background.
I’ve been a fat babe for a long time, so trust me when I say that there are a lot of terrible plus size graphic tees out there. Like, so many – in the most nana designs or random slogans. Needless to say, I’ve never really worn graphic tees until recently. Is there anything more classic and simple than monochrome? While I’m traditionally a black on black girl, I picked up this Estelle polka dot dress at Farmers (you may have seen it in this video I made for them) and I really love wearing it so I wanted to style it for a more casual everyday look.
When you think animal print, your first thought is probably leopard print, right? At least, mine was! Unfortunately the only leopard print I have is the bikini bottoms I wore for this shoot, so I had to think a little outside the box for this week’s challenge…
