I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the things I have in my wardrobe and how I style them. What things do I always reach for? Do I have basics that I can mix and match? What accessories are in my closet? More importantly, how can I make outfits work in different ways? View Post
Ruby & Rain April Try On Video
With the current COVID-19 situation, you might have noticed that I haven’t really been posting much. That’s mostly because my own work has been so incredibly busy that I’ve barely had time to catch my breath. It’s also partly because I haven’t known what to say or how I’m feeling – more on that later.
Here in New Zealand, we have been in level four lockdown for about five weeks now. Restrictions are easing up a little bit this week as we move to level 3ome people will be able go back to work, but the reality is that we are still going to be spending a whole lot of time at home. Maybe dressing up to go to the supermarket, because that’s an exciting outing for a lot of us these days! View Post

Ruby & Rain Try On Video
As you will already know if you follow me on Instagram, I’m a big fan of Ruby & Rain. I love that they’re designed and made in New Zealand, it’s super important to me to be able to support local businesses where I can. I’ve had people asking about the fit of a few Ruby & Rain styles, so I thought I’d borrow a few from Ruby & Rain to show you on video, as well as some of the ones I already have. View Post

Ruby & Rain September Try On
Ruby & Rain is a plus size clothing brand designed and made right here in New Zealand. If you follow me on Instagram you would have heard me talking about them quite a bit (especially after their recent show at New Zealand Fashion Week) and I wear their clothes pretty regularly. For the past few years they have offered their clothes in size XS-XL (14-24), but recently they have been trialing extended sizes on some of their new styles (XXL and XXXL, or 26 and 28). I’m pretty excited about these new size options so of course I want to talk about them as much as possible – I want them to succeed! In the past I’ve always bought the XL (24) but after trying the XXL (26) I definitely prefer the larger size (although I might still get the XL on some pieces from time to time if I want a closer fit!). Because I’m so excited about this extended sizing, I’ve organised with Ruby & Rain to borrow some of their pieces so that I can show you what they look like on someone with a bigger body. View Post
