It’s important to me that my clothes are versatile. While I am a serial outfit repeater and will gladly wear the same clothes over and over (because going with what you love is important, right?), I want to be able to change them up for different occasions, different seasons, different moods. Take the Isla-Maree Miracle Dress for example: it has a reversible neckline (so you can wear it either way depending on your mood) and can be styled for almost any weather in a number of ways. Make sure you’re paying attention, because (spoiler alert!) you could win one of your own… View Post
Rebel Yell
In the midnight hour she cried, more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried, more, more, more
As you may have noticed, I’ve been making moves back to basics with my wardrobe. Lots of of blacks, greys and stripes, just how I like it. It’s anything but boring though, especially when I find clothes that are really versatile or have cool detailing. As I try to curate my closet a bit more, I want to make sure I’m adding pieces that I can wear for different occasions and that I can pair with multiple things in my wardrobe (because let’s be honest, space is limited!). I’ve got a few wardrobe staples to share with you as well as a discount code (because who doesn’t like saving money?), so grab a drink and read on. View Post
Stripes on stripes
Unless you are very very new to my blog, you’ve probably realised that I love stripes by now. And the only thing better than stripes is stripes on stripes, right? I went to K&K to check out what they’ve got in store this summer and tried on everything I could get my hands on (I share my changing room try ons in my Instagram Stories and on Snapchat so make sure you follow me there!), and the thing I loved the most was this dress. Short legs and cropped pants
I’m pretty short and proportionally I have a long torso and short legs. I thought that this was the reason it has always been a nightmare for me to find trousers that fit me properly. I have had to hem my trousers for as long as I can remember, because pants weren’t just an inch or two too long, they were six inches to a foot too long. That’s the size of a bloody Subway sandwich isn’t it? View Post
I grew up in the 90’s
I started high school in 1997 – I was 12 years old, fresh faced and just beginning to really establish my own style and sense of who I was as a person. The Craft had come out the year before and it’s safe to say that film had a big impact on how I dressed all through high school (and let’s be honest, that witchy aesthetic is still very much my style). Now it’s 2016 and I’m 32 years old, and I’m seeing 90’s fashion back in style again. View Post
