Aussie Curves: Christmas

Aussie Curves: Christmas Meagan Kerr

I had a super quiet Christmas this year, just chilling out in Whangarei with my family. We have a very large extended family, so it was nice to have a quiet celebration with no fuss. I wore a maxi dress my Mom made for me a few years ago. I love this dress because not only does it fit me perfectly (the joys of having something custom made), it has acres of billowing fabric and it makes me feel pretty!

Editorial Shoot with The Chub Club

A little while ago I was desperately searching for a bandeau swim top. Just a plain black one, that gave me sufficient boob coverage. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Chubby Cartwheels – a plus size clothing and accessories store whose website actually makes me want to have my entire paycheck direct credited straight to them. Yes, it’s that amazing.

WIWT: Grad Show Opening Night

Meagan Kerr wears 17 Sundays Atari Baby Shirred Waist Dress

Last Thursday was the opening of Unitec’s Grad Show, and with it the end of my studies at Unitec.  I wanted to share my outfit from the night, as well as a few snaps of me with my work for those of you who have been unable to make it in to see the exhibition for yourselves. Just a warning that this post includes photos of one of one of my pieces that involves four incredibly gorgeous, incredibly naked ladies – so if you’re not okay with ladies who are comfortable with their naked selves, or you are at work, you probably should just stop right here… View Post

All of these words describe me, yet there is only one that people spit at me like it’s a dirty word that they can’t wait to get out of their mouth.  There is only one adjective that people see as negative. Fat. View Post

Aussie Curves: Swimwear

Stanmore Bay

I remember being teased and taunted in the swimming pool changing room when I was eight or nine years old.  I was still in primary school and already puberty was changing my body. At that age I was already more developed that all of the girls in the year above me and they were mean about it.  View Post
