I’m pretty short and proportionally I have a long torso and short legs. I thought that this was the reason it has always been a nightmare for me to find trousers that fit me properly. I have had to hem my trousers for as long as I can remember, because pants weren’t just an inch or two too long, they were six inches to a foot too long. That’s the size of a bloody Subway sandwich isn’t it? View Post
Why I’m wearing shorts this summer
Brought to you by The Warehouse
Last summer I wore shorts almost every single day. It was the first time since I was a child that I had felt really comfortable in shorts, and I felt liberated! I decided that I am going to wear shorts as much as possible this summer, and I want you to join me. I know that some of you are already thinking “oh hell no” at the idea of baring your knees for all to see, but bear with me for a moment. View Post
I grew up in the 90’s
I started high school in 1997 – I was 12 years old, fresh faced and just beginning to really establish my own style and sense of who I was as a person. The Craft had come out the year before and it’s safe to say that film had a big impact on how I dressed all through high school (and let’s be honest, that witchy aesthetic is still very much my style). Now it’s 2016 and I’m 32 years old, and I’m seeing 90’s fashion back in style again. View Post
My love/hate relationship with cardigans
I have developed a mistrust of cardigans. Sounds a bit weird, I know, but bear with me. I’ve been cleaning out my closet recently, and one of the things I seem to have an abundance of is black cardigans. It got me thinking about how I ended up with so many items of clothing that pretty much look the same, and I realised that they were a carry over from the days when I thought that my arms had to be covered at all times because holy shit, what if someone saw my jiggly arms and realised I was fat? Kate Madison Jeans
You have probably noticed that I’ve been wearing jeans a lot over the last few months (well, if you’re following me on Instagram you will have noticed), and that’s because it’s cold and jeans are easy. I know I’m not the only one who rocks the jeans and tee look on the regular! View Post
