Over the weekend I went along to The Very Vintage Day Out, and I had an amazing time! I played assistant at the Photo Safari in the morning, I swooned over lots of scrumptious dresses and cheered for two of my friends who were finalists in Miss Pinup New Zealand 2015. Meet Hannah Gough aka Miss Glamour LaRue – Glam for short. She’s a model, an early childhood educator, a Miss Pinup New Zealand 2015 finalist, derby girl and all round awesome babe. I was excited to be able to shoot with her for my Fat Girls Shouldn’t Wear Stripes project and ask her a few questions about being body positive and being a plus size woman in the Miss Pinup New Zealand 2015 finals.
As well as talking about style and body love, I really want to celebrate awesome things that fat babes do. Just because you’re plus size it doesn’t mean that you can’t be talented, successful, intelligent, athletic … or just plain kickass.
