Style It: The Perfect Winter Brunch Outfit

Welcome to the weekend! I love going for brunch with my friends in the weekend – it’s a time when we can catch up on each others weeks and enjoy a great meal together. I’ve selected a few pieces from ASOS to create what I think is the perfect brunch outfit.

The team at ASOS asked me to style up a few outfits for the New Zealand Winter season, of which this is the first – I hope you like it!

I built my outfit around this piece – a gorgeous rabbit print shirt. It has a classic cut and a fun print – who could resist these cute bunnies? It is currently on sale for $51.96 – a sweet bargain for a sweet design! If you’re not in to a print shirt, you could always change it out for a plain white number. View Post

Style It: Spring Fling

In New Zealand, it’s Winter.  Cold, windy, rainy Winter.  No surprise that I am dreaming of Spring already, is it? To help cheer myself up on this chilly day, I’m searching online for sweet Spring outfits…

Even though I’m usually a black on black on black gal, I can’t help but reach for light airy colours at the beginning of Spring – it’s a great way to cheer yourself up if the Winter has been particularly dark and gloomy.

These jeans were actually what made me start thinking about Spring outfits – how gorgeous is that greyed lilac colour? I am slowly incorporating more colour into my wardrobe and I think this might be my new favourite… View Post

Emerald is the Pantone 2013 Colour of the Year. It’s also the birthstone of all those born in May, myself included…

They’re selling a whole bunch of their amazing garments, hats and jewellery, which you may have seen at New Zealand Fashion Week over the last couple of years, and some art that you’ve won’t have seen (but should consider buying because it’s awesome!).
