Wedding season is coming up and with it comes a question I get asked every year – “can I wear black to a wedding?”. Tradition states that wearing black to a wedding is a no no, apparently because it’s the colour of mourning and means that you don’t approve of the marriage. Sounds a bit passive-aggressive if you ask me! View Post
Hair removal 101
Brought to you by Marzena
When I first started shaving my legs and underarms as a teenager it was definitely because that’s what seemed to be expected of me as a woman. If I didn’t, I got teased at school when I got changed for gym class. There was a few years in my 20’s where I grew out my underarm hair and didn’t care whether guys preferred a full bush or none at all, but now I choose to remove my hair because my genes have seen me blessed with thick dark hair that I find itchy and irritating for my skin. I still don’t care if guys prefer a full bush or not. View Post
How to be body confident in the bedroom
I get a lot of people asking me about having sex as a fat girl and how to be body confident in the bedroom, so I thought it was about time we sat down and had “the talk”. So let’s talk about sex, baby!
Whether you’re getting in to bed with a new partner and feeling a bit shy, wanting to be a bit more adventurous, coming to terms with your body changing, or just feeling a bit self conscious about bits that jiggle, it’s okay. I get it. Learning to love your body is one thing, but getting naked with another person (or more than one person) is a whole other deal altogether, right? Not to worry babe, I’ve got your back! Where to buy plus size lingerie
One thing I always get asked about is plus size lingerie. From granny pants to t-shirt bras, with a side of sexy lingerie. It’s the foundation of any good outfit and I like to wear lingerie that makes me feel great – whether it’s under my work clothes or getting dressed up for a hot date. Not because I’m dressing for someone else, but because I’m dressing to make myself feel like a sassy, confident goddess. View Post

Say goodbye to chub rub
I’m going to be blunt – chub rub sucks. There is nothing glam about chafing, which can be the bane of summer. It doesn’t matter if you’re fat, thin or somewhere in between, chub rub can happen to people of any size – it’s when your thighs rub together when you walk, causing friction. It sucks so much that every year when summer rolls around I get people asking me about how to avoid chafing. I decided to take one for the team and try out some solutions to help you say goodbye to chub rub. View Post
