For a long time, I thought that being a fat girl meant that I was doomed to a life of boring nana undies. Always plain black cotton, never any beautiful colours or sensual fabrics. All I can say is thank goodness for Rose & Thorne and Autograph – through them I have discovered a whole new world of plus size lingerie that is suitable for everyday wear! View Post
Let’s Be Mermaids
I’ve been a fat babe for a long time, so trust me when I say that there are a lot of terrible plus size graphic tees out there. Like, so many – in the most nana designs or random slogans. Needless to say, I’ve never really worn graphic tees until recently. But now our favourite plus size designers have embraced this casual wardrobe staple and plus size graphic tees have gone from drab to fab. View Post
Choose your style
Brought to you by Spark
When you buy clothes, shoes and accessories, that’s your chance to show the world your style. To express who you are in a way that doesn’t require words, but rather fabrics, colours, an aesthetic that appeals to you. When you’re choosing a new phone, it’s much the same – at least, it is for me. I have my phone with me almost 24/7 – which means that it doesn’t just need to be functional as a phone, it needs to reflect my style as well. View Post
Autumn Picnic
I needed a bit of time out this week so the boything and I grabbed coffee from Circus Circus and hit one of the local parks to check out the local wildlife and enjoy a spot of sunshine.
The Very Vintage Day Out 2015
Over the weekend I went along to The Very Vintage Day Out, and I had an amazing time! I played assistant at the Photo Safari in the morning, I swooned over lots of scrumptious dresses and cheered for two of my friends who were finalists in Miss Pinup New Zealand 2015. I’ve got a whole bunch of pictures taken by both Doug and myself, so let’s go! Come and experience The Very Vintage Day Out 2015 with me.
