I’ll be honest, a lot of the time my life isn’t nearly as exciting as some people might imagine. Most days are along the lines of: get up, eat breakfast, reply to emails, do some kind of exercise, get some work done, eat lunch, then more work until it’s time to make dinner. In the weekends, I work. Public holidays, I work. When I’m not working, I’m watching Netflix or spending time with my family. I’m basically your average gal juggling work and family life. However, there are some times when I actually leave the house for something other than a workout, so I thought I’d start doing the occasional vlog so I can share some of my fun adventures with you.
I really enjoy watching other people’s vlogs, mostly because I’m nosy (I love seeing what other people get up to) but especially when I’m working at home for hours by myself, it’s nice to have someone else chatting away in the background!
Aside from sharing a bit more of what I get up to with you, I wanted to start vlogging every now and then because I love making video content but it’s not always financially practical for me to make haul videos. As you know, buying clothes is pretty pricey! So I thought I’d balance out my clothing hauls (and the occasional skincare/product review video) with something fun and hopefully interesting.
Anyway, here’s my first vlog (well, second really – you can watch another vlog I filmed earlier in the year here). I hope you like it – let me know what you think and if you want to see more!
What I’m Wearing:
• Dragonscale Circle Dress from Joolz Fashion (28)
• Clara Gold Glitter Back Lace Up Trainer from boohoo.com (8)
• Russet River Lipstick from Burt’s Bees
Other Links I Mentioned:
• Check out the cute pins at Oh You Fox
• Find out more about the Middlemore Foundation and how you can help raise funds for the new Mental Health Inpatient Unit they’re building
I hope you enjoyed the vlog!
Let me know you’ve been up to this week and if you want to see more vlogs from me.
