Review: Lush Sunny Day Hair Spray

Where I live it’s really humid and I’m one of those people who is forever trying to fight my frizzy hair and for a while it seemed like my knotty hair and the flyaways would win. I’ve been using the Sunny Day Anti-Static Hair Detangler from Lush for about six months now and I have to say that I’ve never received so many compliments about my hair as I have in that time!

After I’ve washed and conditioned my hair, I towel dry it then mist the Sunny Day Anti-Static Hair Detangler over it before running my Tangle Teezer brush through it. It’s got Ylang Ylang and fresh lemon juice, but the scent that stands out most for me is the violet! I use a violet shampoo and conditioner, so basically my hair smells as violet-y as it possibly can and I love it.

MY VERDICT: Sunny Day Hair Spray doesn’t leave my hair silky smooth when the heat and humidity are at their peak but it does a great job in milder conditions. When the humidity is high, it does help to tame the frizz a bit and detangle it. I’m on to my second bottle now and I will definitely continue to purchase this product to keep my locks tangle free.
