If you have curly hair, you probably already understand the importance of finding hair products that tame the frizz while making the most of your luscious locks. The ladies at Lush recommended that I try Curly Wurly shampoo, which is packed with coconut and natural butters to help nurture dry hair and eliminate frizz.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the pot was that this shampoo is like a combination of liquid and solid. It’s not in a hard bar form like some shampoos I’ve tried, but nor is it the creamy liquid shampoo that you find in your local supermarket or hair salon. Instead, it’s packed with desiccated coconut, and kind of reminds me of unset coconut ice. It is, by far, the most delicious shampoo I’ve ever come across – coconut, lemon juice, fresh papaya, avocado butter, vanilla… and that’s just the beginning!
My verdict…
It makes your hair smell delicious, it lathers well and it lasts ages (I’ve barely made a dent in the last month or so). Curly Wurly leaves my curls soft and defined, exactly how curly hair should be! I do notice that I sometimes end up with some pieces of coconut stuck in my hair after rinsing – no big deal, I just dry it off with a towel and the coconut comes out.

I’ll have to try this shampoo out! 🙂 I’ve tried the I Love Juicy shampoo, which is so nice for people with oily hair like me, it cleans your hair but also leaves it soft and shiny.
