Last week I was lucky enough to pay a visit to Ashleigh Scott, a talented facialist with an amazing clinic in the City Works Depot in Auckland’s CBD. I’m a member of Flossie.com‘s Tried & Tested Panel, which means that sometimes I get to test out a new salon that Flossie is bringing on board. All of their spas and salons are tried and tested by at least two people, so you know that when you book an appointment you’re going to get a great experience at a recommended salon.
Ashleigh’s rooms are beautiful – the industrial look of the concrete and wood is offset with plants and fresh cut flowers, lovely products and delightful little touches of luxury.
The thing that makes an appointment with Ashleigh stand out from all of the other spa facials I have had is that it really is a luxury experience. It’s the little details that make it memorable. There were padded coathangers to hang my clothes on and a soft sheepskin rug to curl my toes up on as I climbed into a warmed treatment bed. I snuggled down under some warm heavy blankets while Ashleigh did a thorough analysis of my skin and had a chat to me about what my skin concerns were before she gave me a facial that was specially tailored for my skin.

Afterwards my skin looked and felt amazing, and I was so relaxed! I’d love to go back to see Ashleigh again, and can say that she most definitely provides a five star service – along with the best spa facials in Auckland.
