I’ve been really attracted to red and gold lately (especially gold glitter), and I found myself wondering if it was just coincidence that I keep coming back to them…
I’ve been thinking a little bit about the meanings of colours, and using them to attract certain things into your life. When I’m feeling down I try to wear bright colours etc, and I know that I am automatically attracted to different colours at particular points of my life, but what do they mean?
Red is the colour of prosperity and joy. It brings focus to the essence of life and living with emphasis on survival.
Wear red when you want:
- confidence to go after your dreams
- increased enthusiasm and interest
- more energy
- protection from fears and anxieties
Gold symbolises wealth and success, but it is also the symbol of good health and promotes courage, confidence and willpower.
Wear gold when you want:
- relaxation and enjoyment of life
- good health
- success

It’s interesting that I keep coming back to red and gold lately, because I’ve been thinking really hard about the direction I want my life to take, what my career goals are and how I can get to where I want to be. Here’s hoping that the red and gold will help to empower me to take the next step!

Gosh you’re talented with your talons, how amazing do they look?! (Hint: VERY!) I’d never think to pair red and gold together, but it looks simply sublime!
Also… that’s rather fascinating about the power of colours and what they can mean, isn’t it? I’ve had a *horrific* year (oh, the stories I could tell you!), and find myself being drawn to a heap of bright colours (normally, I mostly wear black!) lately… I wonder if it’s my sub-conscious’s way of signalling that it’s time to move on and find happiness again, and explore bigger and better things? 🙂
