Valentine’s Day is coming up next month, and whether you’re single or loved up I believe that every woman should have lingerie that makes her feel like a million dollars. This is a great chance to find lingerie that makes you feel like a goddess, whether it is to wear for your lover or for yourself, so I’ve picked out some of my favourite plus size lingerie to help you look and feel fabulous.

I really love that this babydoll has underwire cups, because while I like the look of a babydoll, I also like to feel like the girls are being supported. Pair it with the matching thong and you have some “come hither” bedroom-wear (which is also suitable for wearing while eating pizza and watching your fave film – which is what I will probably doing on Valentine’s Day as my boyfriend is working nights).

I love the pinup girl aesthetic of Dita Von Teese’s lingerie, and I think that even if I were wearing this under the drabbest of work uniforms, I’d feel great (because sometimes that is exactly the kind of pick-me-up a gal needs!). Those sheer panels are hot!

Now this is what I call a sexy nightgown! With it’s nude mesh inserts, black lace and sultry satin, I am most definitely sold on this. It’s part of the collaboration between high fashion French designer Sophie Theallet and Lane Bryant’s Cacique label – a match made in heaven from what I’ve seen of this saucy collection!

I started wearing Elomi bras last year, and when the team at Avokado emailed me in December to let me know they were getting the Naoko design in store I had to buy the bra as soon as it came in (this is what it looks like on me). They are the best fitting bras I’ve ever worn and the designs are beautiful. The Naoko design takes inspiration from ancient Japanese woodblock prints, featuring a parasol print, and delicate cherry blossom embroidery – isn’t it gorgeous?

I love bandage style things that give a little peek of skin, and I feel like this bustier is pretty wearable outside the bedroom. I’ve always been a fan of underwear as outerwewar and think that this would be great with a skirt, what do you think? You can choose the colour of your lining, I prefer either black or nude to highlight the skin underneath.

Cream or white lingerie is not just reserved for brides – it also looks great with your golden summer tan (fake, of course!). This bustier and brief combo is a match with the babydoll style I’ve featured above, so if you love the gorgeous detailing as much as I do then why not treat yourself to the whole set? I find that wearing lingerie that makes me look fabulous also makes me feel like a goddess, and by the time it comes to dessert (by which I mean sex. Come on, we’re all adults here…) I feel like the hottest woman alive. Which is exactly how you should feel with your lover. Reow.

I really like the feminine feel of Flora Nikrooz‘s intimates, she always chooses such gorgeous fabric. I especially love the combination of mesh and lacework in this chemise – it’s beautiful and delicate and sensual.

This retro set is the perfect combination of practical and pretty. My favourite part is the mesh back on the briefs – I have a similar pair and every time I wear them I instantly feel my sass level being lifted. Perhaps it’s the knowledge that under my clothes I am wearing something sheer and sexy? Whatever it is, I like it!
