Spring is here, and with it comes a new season of style. It’s time for lighter weight fabrics, less layers and to bring in some more colour. I’ve spotted some cool pieces in the Anko Plus range at Kmart recently that I wanted to try, so I did an online order. I thought I’d film a little Kmart clothing haul and try on video to share them with you! View Post
Where to buy plus size menswear
Okay team, let’s talk plus size menswear. Whether you’re big or tall or both, in the past it has been hard as a masc dresser to find clothes. My boyfriend Doug is 6’3″ and a big dude, so over the years we’ve discovered a few places (both in New Zealand and online) that have some great options up to a 9XL. View Post
Ruby & Rain September Try On
Ruby & Rain is a plus size clothing brand designed and made right here in New Zealand. If you follow me on Instagram you would have heard me talking about them quite a bit (especially after their recent show at New Zealand Fashion Week) and I wear their clothes pretty regularly. For the past few years they have offered their clothes in size XS-XL (14-24), but recently they have been trialing extended sizes on some of their new styles (XXL and XXXL, or 26 and 28). I’m pretty excited about these new size options so of course I want to talk about them as much as possible – I want them to succeed! In the past I’ve always bought the XL (24) but after trying the XXL (26) I definitely prefer the larger size (although I might still get the XL on some pieces from time to time if I want a closer fit!). Because I’m so excited about this extended sizing, I’ve organised with Ruby & Rain to borrow some of their pieces so that I can show you what they look like on someone with a bigger body. View Post

Five ways to relax
Relaxing isn’t really one of my strong points. When my therapist asked me what my hobbies were, I was kind of silent because honestly, I don’t really have any. Once the things I did as a hobby (photography and writing about fashion) became a part time job, they stopped being the relaxing “hobby” they used to be. Since then, I’ve been trying to find ways to relax, things to do in my down time, that aren’t “work”. Things that allow me to switch off. Here’s a few things I have tried (some with more success than others!) in case you need to unwind too. View Post
