When I think “rock chic”, I think black, denim, studs, leather and eyeliner. And red lipstick, of course. I’m always up for giving something a go, so for our NZ Style Curvettes challenge this week I thought I’d combine all of those things into one outfit. View Post
Fashion vs comfort
Brought to you by Ziera
For a long time I thought that I had to pick between fashion and comfort. I chose fashion for a long time and squeezed my feet into shoes that were beautiful but bloody uncomfortable (like that cherry red pair of high heeled Mary Janes I had when I was 18 – swoon!). View Post
Mother’s Day Gift Guide
Some things haven’t much changed since I was a child – I still can’t make a good cup of tea, breakfast in bed is always appreciated and my mum is still one of my best friends. That might sound cheesy but it’s totally true – even more so now that we live in different countries. We talk often, she’s my sounding board (and voice of reason), and she’s always supported my crazy ideas (like leaving a perfectly good job to become a blogger). She’s coming over to visit me for my birthday next week, and my birthday just happens to be on Mother’s Day – clearly a sign that I’m her greatest gift, right? View Post
Autumn beauty tips
I spent my summer making the most of the amazing weather – I’ve been swimming, I’ve been out in the sun, I’ve worn shorts and jandals almost every day … and as a result I’m in need of a little bit of head to toe TLC. Over summer I tend to lean towards a really basic beauty routine but autumn is the time that I replenish my skin and my hair after a lot of sea, sun and sand. View Post
First Look: Peter Alexander Plus
Brought to you by Peter Alexander
I’ve been looking longingly at Peter Alexander’s pyjamas for quite some time now, wishing they did plus sizes. I know I’m not alone, a few of you have messaged me saying the same thing! I’m sure you’ll be as excited as I am to hear about the launch of Peter Alexander Plus! Yup, that’s right – probably the most popular name when it comes to PJs has ventured in to plus and I think that’s worth celebrating. View Post
