As I’m sure you’re well aware, later this week I am going on my first ever solo trip overseas. While I’ve been making travel plans, I had a friend mention dress codes for flying, and it got me thinking about how we dress when we travel. View Post
Celebrating four years
I’m super excited to be celebrating my blog’s 4th birthday today – that’s four years of style, self love and so many other things. I wouldn’t be here, doing what I love, without every single one of my readers, so I wanted to say thank you. View Post
Why do you exercise?
There are a couple of misconceptions that really irk me when it comes to exercise – the first is that fat people don’t exercise and the other is that people only go to the gym to lose weight. *sigh* It’s one of those “where do I even start?” situations. View Post
Making travel plans
Brought to you by Warehouse Money
In just a few weeks I’m going to be heading off on my first ever overseas trip by myself, so while the weather is cold and wet, I am making travel plans. I’ve been travelling solo around NZ for years but it seems like a much bigger deal when you’re going overseas. This is really the first time I’ve travelled abroad as an adult (while I was in my 20’s last time, it doesn’t count because my dad took care of all the details), and I really wanted to share this with you in case you might be new to travelling as well! Winter treats giveaway
Okay, so I think we have all figured out by now that I’m not a fan of winter. It’s cold, it’s windy, it’s wet, I never see my friends because we are all hibernating, and all I want to do is be lying on a beach with a cocktail in my hand. Does this sound familiar? I thought you might need a little something to help you through the rest of the cold weather, so I’ve put together a few lovely winter treats and one lucky person will win the lot. View Post
