I always get really excited when Chocolat releases their lookbooks, because this New Zealand label has pieces that wow me season after season. You’ve seen me wearing pieces from them before (take a look here and here if you need a reminder) and loved them, so I thought I’d share a few of my favourite pieces from the latest collection – let me know what you’re loving! Plus Size Halloween Costumes
My favourite time of the year is almost here! I know it’s only the beginning of September, but I’ve just ordered the dress I want to wear for Halloween so I thought why not, let’s start talking about Halloween costumes. That gives you plenty of time to decide what you want to dress up as, order any aspects you need for your outfit and put together your look, right? Remember – you don’t have to go full on and dress up as a “character” if that’s not your jam. You can add spooky elements to your outfit or just take inspiration from something as well. View Post

Choosing a bed
I’ve had quite a few people asking me about what kind of bed I’d recommend for plus size people lately, and as you will have seen in this video, Doug and I recently got a new bed so I thought I’d let you know what kind of bed we picked and why we thought it was the best one for us. View Post
This post isn't sponsored but Sleepyhead did kindly supply our bed and some of their bedding essentials to help make our bedroom super cosy, as well as the pillows for the giveaway. As always all opinions are my own.
K&K Active
One of the things people ask me about the most is plus size activewear, and I was very excited to hear that New Zealand label K&K has brought out their own range of active gear recently. I had some samples sent to me to check out, so I thought I’d let you know what I thought and how it fit. View Post
My Bedroom Makeover
As you know, I had surgery earlier in the year and during my recovery I’ve spent an awfully large amount of time in bed. It’s made me realise how much I need my bedroom to be my sanctuary and after many hours spent in bed staring at my surroundings (and watching home renovation shows on HGTV), I felt like our room wasn’t really cutting it. The bed was uncomfortable; our furniture and soft furnishings were badly mismatched, having been collected over the last 18 years since I moved out of home; and it just wasn’t the cosy, relaxing haven that I wanted it to be. And so, I started planning some changes. View Post
