In New Zealand, it’s Winter.  Cold, windy, rainy Winter.  No surprise that I am dreaming of Spring already, is it? To help cheer myself up on this chilly day, I’m searching online for sweet Spring outfits…

Even though I’m usually a black on black on black gal, I can’t help but reach for light airy colours at the beginning of Spring – it’s a great way to cheer yourself up if the Winter has been particularly dark and gloomy.

I am back in Auckland after a wonderful long weekend away, and today is one of those lovely Winter days that is super sunny with a bit of a chill.  Perfect weather for … working on assignments. Sunglass Hut & OPSM Spring/Summer 13/14 collections preview

A couple of weeks ago, I attended the Sunglass Hut & OPSM Spring/Summer 13/14 collections preview at Studio Lumiere on behalf of nzgirl. Translation: I tried on some sweet new designer glasses, and found out what’s coming up in terms of eyewear fashion.

When I say that I tried on some glasses, I mean that I tried on most of the glasses on display. I’m always on the hunt for a new frame shape that suits my face, so this was the perfect opportunity to try heaps of different kinds.  Unfortunately, it did mean that I fell in love with more than one pair – oops! Future Projections [Auckland Festival of Photography]

Last week I made the last minute decision to put some work forward for an exhibition.  I wasn’t going to, because I have a whole bunch of pending uni deadlines and the project I’m working on at the moment is really personal (as in, it’s about me), but I kind of just entered it on what was literally the last day.  Long story short, both pieces I submitted are in the exhibition!
