The best time of the year is coming up – Halloween! I love dressing up, lighting some candles and watching spooky films with my friends. I thought I’d start celebrating early and get some Halloween inspired nails!
I found these nails on Pinterest (a great source of nail inspiration for me! Be sure to follow me if you’re not already!) and wanted to do something similar. I chose the traditional Halloween colours, using a glittery black and a pale creamy orange, and got Penny to do some spiders and webs that were slightly different to the ones in the inspo pic. Getting inspiration from others is cool, but I’d rather put my own personality in to something than trying to make a direct copy.
Penny used the same glittery black colour gloss to do the spider’s web, and I love the way the little bits of glitter sparkle, just like sunlight catching the dew on a spider’s web.
Penny used Artistic Colour Gloss in Controlling for the glittery black nails and the spider and web nail art, and creamy orange Alluring for the feature nails. Aren’t they cool?!
If you’d like to book in for a gel manicure (or a pedicure!) with Penny or Brooke at Monaco, check out their website or give them a call on 0800 4 MONACO.
I’m going to be getting one more set of Halloween nails this year, and would love to hear your ideas! Let me know what you think I should get in the comments (feel free to share links to images/pins!), and you might see your suggestion on my nails in two weeks!

Oh! They are so great!
These are so freaking cool! I like the one feature nail as otherwise they can get a bit busy, this is cute 🙂 http://www.lisalately.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/a-halloween-nails-8.jpeg
I agree, I’m definitely more of a fan of simple nails with one little feature!
LOVE those candy corn nails, cuuuute!
