Can you imagine what it would be like to come face to face with someone who looked exactly like you? What about two people who look like you?
I’ve been watching Orphan Black on Lightbox and while I can’t tell you much about it without giving things away, I can tell you that it’s an action filled show that will keep you guessing. It’s a little bit sci-fi, but not in an “aliens from outer space” kind of way, and I highly recommend you watch a few episodes – I bet you’ll be hooked like I was!
I’m loving the idea of playing multiple characters, each with their own dress style and individual look. While I don’t have the amazing hair and makeup to transform me into a totally different person, I do have the ability to transform myself through what I wear! I thought I’d share a recent addition to my wardrobe, worn in three ways – because versatility is important when buying clothes. Unless you have three wardrobes, of course…
Nothing beats a classic “jeans and tee” look for running errands and having brunch with my friends. I’m actually wearing jeggings rather than jeans because I find them much nicer to wear. They hug my curves, but are still super soft and comfortable. I couldn’t resist matching my shoes to my tunic, loving this bright shade!

Adding a skirt is always a great way to change up your look! I do this over dresses and tops, the key is to make sure that the hemline of your skirt is longer than the hemline of what’s underneath. I always do this with things that I can wear high waisted, because I think that looks best on me (and otherwise this skirt is far too long for me). A cardigan and ballet flats were all I needed to finish this outfit!

And finally, a super laid back look for around the house. I’m trying to wear more patterned pants, so these monochromatic patterned leggings were the perfect fit for my bright tunic. Hair up in a bun, sunglasses and black sneakers on, and I’m set for an afternoon of playing boardgames with my boyfriend or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

I’m hanging out with a girl who auditioned for Orphan Black last week in Toronto. Had a wee moment. That show is soooo cool.
Eee that’s exciting! Hope you’re having a great time over there! x
