I’ve been wanting to shop at Missguided for a long time, and recently they had a sale on so I thought I’d try the Missguided Curve range – all in the name of blog research of course!
One of the things that’s previously put me off shopping with Missguided is that my hip measurements are larger than the ones listen on their size chart (they do sizes 4-24, by the way). As with any online purchase, it’s important to take in to account the fabric and cut of the garment you’re looking at, as well as your measurements, so I decided to go for things that I knew would work for my hips – oversized pieces, stretch fabrics and styles that would be looser at the hip.

The mustard sweater is by far my favourite, I’m going to be wearing it a lot over autumn when the weather cools down a bit – I love how it looks with both dark and patterned pants. While it’s a (super soft) lightweight knit, it’s still quite warm, so cooler weather is definitely required. One of the best parts about this style is that it’s available in a bunch of different colours – if mustard yellow isn’t your thing then there is also red, soft pink, grey, navy, cream and the always classic black.
Shipping took seven days and I was very impressed that it only cost AUD $5 (or $10 if you wanted to spring for express). Having reasonably priced shipping is one of the things that is likely to make me want to shop with a store (or return to shop again), and I think I will definitely be heading back to Missguided soon.
