It’s that time of year when spooks are about and trick or treaters come out, and lucky for you I know where the very best treats are to be found. Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year – and I love to celebrate with treats from Lush. The Lush Halloween celebration is only a very short one, so you need to be fast to nab your favourites before they disappear.
1. Pumpkin Bath Bomb
Halloween wouldn’t be complete without a jack-o’-lantern or two, and this bath bomb combines spicy and sweet with exotic pimento, sweet vanilla and warming cinnamon to get you in the Halloween mood. I wasn’t able to get my claws on Pumpkin this year because it’s sold out online and in most stores already so if you do want to nab this guy you better check in with your local.
2. Magic Wand Soap
I’m not really a soap user, because I prefer shower gels, but the Magic Wand soap has made me change my ways (for Halloween at least!). It’s got tangerine and orange oil in it, and smells absolutely divine. I think following this up with the Karma Kream body lotion would be a perfect match!
3. Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb
I first tried a Lord of Misrule bath bomb last Christmas and it’s become one of the favourites in my house. It’s warm and sweet, with black pepper, vanilla and gardenia, and I actually stocked up on this one last year so I could enjoy them for a few months, which was a great plan!
4. Goth Fairy Shimmer Bar
When I went to the launch of Lush’s Christmas range at the Sylvia Park store a couple of weeks ago, one of the Lushie babes gave me a gorgeous arm massage using the Goth Fairy Shimmer Bar. Holy moly! It smells like bergamot and grapefruit, and will leave your skin with a serious shimmer making it perfect for pampering yourself before you head out partying this summer!
5. Boo Bath Melt
Unfortunately Boo has already sold out online and in most stores, and I’m not surprised because he is so cute! If you spot this bath melt in your local store, make sure you snap him up so you can soak in a luxe bath of moisturising cocoa butter with citrus and floral oils.
6. Monsters’ Ball Bath Bomb
This is a little bit cute and a little bit spooky. The Monsters’ Ball bath bomb has lime and neroli oils, which are both really uplifting scents – a great way to kick off getting ready for a fun evening. Come to think of it, those citrus scents would be great with the Goth Fairy shimmer bar to finish off…
7. Lord of Misrule Shower Cream
Oh heck yes, a shower cream version of the cult fave bath bomb? You know that’s gonna be good. I lathered up with Lord of Misrule shower cream this morning and loved the bright green suds that combined a herbal blend of patchouli, peppercorn and black pepper with the sweetness of vanilla. If you don’t have time for a bath but love Lord of Misrule then make sure you grab a bottle of this – the bigger the better!
8. Autumn Leaf Bath Bomb
Of all the bath bombs that Lush has brought out for Halloween, I think the Autumn Leaf bath bomb is the prettiest when you pop it in the tub. It’s got subtle scents of neroli, sandalwood, bergamot and Japanese maple sap, which were a bit grassy for my liking but great if you love a fresh grassy smell.
9. Fireside Soap
With cloves, vanilla and coconut oil, the Fireside soap is perfect for the days when you just want that warm cosy feeling. I think it would be a great way to wind down at the end of the day, especially when you’re super busy over the Christmas season.
If you want to get your hands on any of these Lush Halloween treats, you’ll need to be fast. They will be available in store and online until 31st October (unless they sell out sooner like Pumpkin and Boo have!), so get your spooky fix quick.
Have you tried any of these Lush Halloween treats?
Let me know which ones you’d love to try
