Leopard print is one of those timeless autumn/winter prints, and apparently it’s considered a neutral. I’m not so sure leopard print is really in the same league as navy, black and grey (although perhaps it depends on the type of leopard print?!), but as it is a fashion fave for so many people, perhaps it’s time to let a little leopard slink into my wardrobe!
This is the perfect skirt for autumn – the leopard print midi acts as a statement piece in an outfit of black on black. It could either be a stylish day look (go for clean tailored look to keep it classy) or dressed up for an evening out with sheerer more luxe fabrics.

If you want to go bold, pair this striking dress with a bright red lip and you’re sure to knock someone’s socks off! Probably mine – there is just something about leopard print and red lipstick that oozes sass and sex appeal. I’d love to wear this to The Very Vintage Day Out!

Torrid has a bunch of great new activewear, with loads of leopard prints in there! This sweatshirt can be worn as activewear or not, and you can get joggers in the same print if you’re feeling all matchy matchy. Personally, I’d pair this jumper with some black jeans for a snuggly autumn look.

Leopard print doesn’t have to be figure hugging or revealing (although it often is) – a loose comfy tee is great paired with more fitted pieces (think skinny jeans and a biker jacket) for a look that’s casual yet cool.

I love maxi dresses, but I hate that I always seem to trip over the front of my dress (especially walking up stairs), so this high-low hem is the perfect end of summer maxi!. The good weather is set to continue so why not make the most of it with picnics and beach trips?

Black on black is a wardrobe fave for me, so combining that in one garment PLUS leopard print? Freaking genius. It’s a safe subtle way to adventure in to prints (and it looks cool!).

My boyfriend and I both agree that these sneakers are pretty cool – I’m imagining them with black jeans and a band tee, perfect for wearing to the markets in the weekend, or out to a gig.

I LOVE animal print!
I have the leopard print Heidi dress and absolutely love it.
So appropriate that your cat is called Heidi! Wait, is that a coincidence?
I love the trainers and flats but I can’t say I like the classic animal prints. Unfortunately I’ve seen way too many tiny minis worn with tight, tight tops and giant hoop earrings. Oh no, hoochi mama! Great picks though Meaghan. What did you wear to the wedding?
I hear ya Anna! I prefer a more subtle approach to animal print (and style in general!), myself. I wore a blue and white maxi dress to the wedding in the end – just waiting to get photos back so I can share them!
