Spring is here, and with it comes a new season of style. It’s time for lighter weight fabrics, less layers and to bring in some more colour. I’ve spotted some cool pieces in the Anko Plus range at Kmart recently that I wanted to try, so I did an online order. I thought I’d film a little Kmart clothing haul and try on video to share them with you!

As you can tell, I was much happier with those linen pieces the second time around. Wearing the skirt and culottes lower down on my stomach didn’t really work for me because of my body shape. I am really happy with how they look high waisted though, which goes to show you should sometimes give things a second chance. I think that the linen culottes are my favourite piece from my Kmart haul, and I can see me wearing these a lot over summer! They are definitely a keeper for me.
Linen blends are great for warmer weather, and something that I get asked about a lot. It’s exciting to see more of these coming out in plus sizes – especially at such an affordable price point. Stay tuned for a future blog post dedicated to linen love!
If you have any suggestions on how I can style the culottes, let me know! Sneakers and a tee are probably going to be my go-to pairing for summer, I think. I’m still a bit unsure whether I want to hem them a little shorter. I was convinced they were too long, but looking at them in photos they’re not as long as I thought they were. What do you think?
