Into The Woods – Farmers AW15

Autumn is my favourite season – the cool crisp air, the beautiful things that happen in nature, and of course autumn fashion! I picked up a few new things from Farmers recently and was really impressed by their plus size range, so I thought I’d show them to you in a way that’s a little bit different for me. I thought I’d make a wee lookbook style video…

That’s right – I’ve made a video! I wanted to be able to show you more than just pictures of me standing around, because then you can get an idea of how fabric moves, how things really sit and drape. I styled three outfits using some of my favourite pieces from the plus size ranges at Farmers – an activewear look, a day to night look and a workwear look. I can’t wait to hear what you think of them!

Outfit #1: Activewear

Style notes:
Activewear is the thing I get the most emails about, and I am absolutely in love with both of these pieces. The double layer tank has a very generous fit (I probably could have sized down) and the leggings are currently being worn at all possible opportunities – whether I’m going for a walk, doing yoga or relaxing at home. I may even have to buy a second pair so that I can wear them every day …

Outfit #2: Day to Night

Style notes:
This is a nice easy outfit to wear as the weather starts to cool down – the Meagan dress would be great paired with a blazer for the office or just with one of these gorgeous snuggly loop scarves for a pop of colour. You can easily add stockings on a cold day, and switch out the flats for some boots.

Style Notes:
I don’t often wear button down shirts, but I really wanted to wear this just so that I could wear it tied up in a crop! You could also wear it tucked in or loose over jeans. The back has two panels that sit crossed over each other, giving you beautiful movement when you walk.
