Last week I made the last minute decision to put some work forward for an exhibition. I wasn’t going to, because I have a whole bunch of pending uni deadlines and the project I’m working on at the moment is really personal (as in, it’s about me), but I kind of just entered it on what was literally the last day. Long story short, both pieces I submitted are in the exhibition!
This is one of them – you may have seen this image before, if you read this post about loving the skin you’re in (and why it’s okay to be fat and not hate yourself). The other one … well, you’ll just have to go along and check it out, won’t you?

My Story: Love the skin you’re in – I have just read the article and I tell you I know exactly how you feel, I wrote a post very similar to this just a month earlier. http://mynameismargaret-rose.blogspot.co.nz/2013/04/unleashiong-my-fatshion-world-to-my.html
Hi Margaret-Rose,
I’ve actually rad your post before, while I was doing a spot of Aussie Curves snooping! Great to see another curvy Maori woman loving her body. I can’t wait until it’s warmer so we can hit the beach again!

Hello Again Meagan,
Gosh, I should have realised you probably have already had a look around at the other Aussie Curves ladies. I’m glad to have finally found another Blogger in Auckland and that is so true I so can’t wait for Summer, this year I am running away to Rarotonga for a week and I can’t wait. This weather is horrible here.
Rarotonga sounds lovely! Much nicer than the cold, wet weather we are getting here. I hope you have a wonderful time!
