While I was in Melbourne I paid a visit to Harlow HQ and got a sneak peek at what they’ve got coming up for this spring and summer. I’m not going to lie, it was pretty exciting to see where all the goodness happens (and to see what’s coming up)! And now, I get to share some of the excitement with you because I am FINALLY allowed to share Harlow’s first lookbook of the season.
One of the things Harlow and I have in common is our love of black, and they understand how important it is to make the lines of black on black clothing look interesting. The Atomic Oversized Top has a split at the back, the Glycerine Queen Dinner Pants have ruching at the bottom – it’s all in the details.
A plain white tee is an absolute wardrobe essential and I’ve been after the perfect one for ages. I’ve worn Harlow’s Taking It Easy tees before and find them super soft and comfortable (see what this style looks like on me here and here), so I know I will definitely need this white tee in my wardrobe.
This ocean print is perfect for summer. You’ve probably noticed that I’m a fan of white and blue together – this moody print, reminiscent of waves crashing on a rocky outcrop, nails that brief while still appealing to the darker palette of my wardrobe.
The Rebel Yell Dress is by far my favourite piece from Harlow this season. It’s very similar to the Dreammaker Sweater Dress that I loved from last season, and I know it’s another piece I’d wear a lot. I love finding clothes that are so comfortable I just want to wear them over and over, and that’s just what this style is. It comes in a black and white textured knit and in black, and as you can see below it can also be worn over jeans as a top.
Of course, those are just a few of my favourite pieces – you should definitely check out the full lookbook for yourself and let me know what you love the most! One thing you should keep an eye out for is the accessories – the team at Harlow have been using the offcuts from their manufacturing to create a few limited edition Harlow pieces, and no two pieces are the same! I love that Harlow is ethically made in Australia, and that they’re really thinking about how they can minimise their wastage.
Tell me your faves, what are you loving?
