I’m sure I’ve said this before, but as a photographer and a plus size woman, I really appreciate a good fashion editorial. You see them on the pages of glossy magazines, but very rarely do they contain plus size women. That’s one of the reasons I really love 17 Sundays’ lookbooks – because they always deliver the goods. Here are a few of my favourite shots from their latest collection Wild Flower featuring the gorgeous Sophie Sheppard photographed by Lily Cummings.
By now I’m sure you’re all well aware of my love affair with 17 Sundays – I have loads of their clothes in my wardrobe, I wear their pieces all the time and I’m really proud to say that they were among the first designers to support my blog. Every season I wait with anticipation for a peek at their new collection and this season did not disappoint.
This whole collection makes me think of warm summer nights when the daylight hours stretch on and on. Of evenings spent with friends and family, around a fire. Of walking along the beach with my beloved, the waves tickling my feet.
Everything good is wild and free
The pattern on this tank is everything. It’s so eyecatching, and I already know you love it because when I posted the dress below on my Facebook page last week so many of you were going nuts for it! So you’re in luck – you can choose between the tank and the dress (or go for both if you really love it!).
If you want to check out the rest of this lookbook which is inspired by Australian beach life in the 70’s and 80’s, swoon away below. This is just the first part of the Wildflower collection – stay tuned for the second drop later in the summer.
Tell me your faves, what are you loving? Any pieces that you’re eyeing up?
