I remember flicking through the pages of magazines like Vogue and Pulp when I was a budding young photographer and swooning over all manner of editorial fashion shoots. I always wished that there were more editorial shoots featuring women with bodies like mine, with clothes that were available in my size, and holy moly does 17 Sundays deliver this in their AW15 lookbook or what?!
17 Sundays is one of my favourite labels. I’m not saying this as lip service – my wardrobe is probably about 25% 17 Sundays (pretty impressive considering the amount of clothes I have!). Their clothes are comfortable, cut in a way that perfectly compliments my figure and they’re fashion forward. Pretty much everything I want in a label! They celebrate women and have been supporters of my blog for a long time, so I wanted to share a few of my faves from their latest collection PRETTY | VACANT with you.
My boyfriend and I lost our shit when we saw this denim boiler suit on Instagram this morning. Unfortunately there’s such a big difference in my hip-waist-bust ratio that it wouldn’t work for me, but I DIE! Can y’all just please rock it on my behalf?
Stripes. They give me life. That tube skirt is perfection and I’m pretty sure it’s going to need to find it’s way into my wardrobe. I’m also loving that printed tee – I think it would look great styled with jeans as well. They’ve got casual wear completely on point, and there are so many pieces in this latest collection that could be dressed up or down, depending on your style.
This varsity tee will be perfect with jeans all autumn and winter. I love a comfy tee to wear while I’m out browsing the farmer’s market or snuggled up in front of the fire with a book (I don’t actually have a fireplace, but dreams are free, right?).
The retrograde knit coat reminds me of this knit coat from a couple of seasons ago. I love the darker colourings in this one, and the more fitted cut. Every winter needs snuggly cardigans, bring on those crisp mornings.
Hands down my favourite piece ever from 17 Sundays is #thejacket. When I first saw the lookbook for this collection, I lost my mind – my fave jacket is now available in black. COME AT ME! I’m ruing the fact that I only get paid once a month because I’m pretty sure this jacket will have sold out by the time I can afford to buy it. Fingers crossed there is one left in my size, because I think it would be the ultimate birthday present!
Want to see the full lookbook? Here you go, swoon away!
Tell me your faves, what are you loving? Any pieces that you’re eyeing up?
