When I saw that this week’s Aussie Curves theme was “Favourite Feature” it got me thinking about what part of my body I like the most. Which led me to thinking about when I didn’t like any parts of my body.

6 tips to help you sleep
Brought to you by Sovereign
I’ve had trouble getting to sleep for the longest time. Sometimes my brain is just on overload and I’m thinking about all the things I have to do, replaying things I have done and coming up with great ideas for things I want to do. I usually get around four hours of sleep a night, although occasionally my internal monologue goes something like this…
“If I go to bed now, I’ll get eight hours of sleep.
If I fell asleep now I’d get six hours sleep. Six hours is reasonable…
… okay, now I have five hours …
… four hours ….
… this is ridiculous, can I even function on two and a half hours of sleep?
Ugh, an hour until I have to get up. Should I just get up now?
… *snoring*”
Who enjoys exercise?
Oh man, what have I done? I’ve become one of those people who actually enjoys exercise! Don’t get me wrong, dragging myself out of bed before 6am so that I can pull on my walking shoes is not my idea of fun at all, but as part of my knee rehab I have to walk to build up strength, so it’s gotta be done. Not to mention those endorphins, holy moly – that makes getting up early so worth it!
Happy Anniversary, Baby!
Last week my boyfriend and I celebrated our 4th anniversary. We marked four years of epic adventures with a roadtrip around part of the central North Island that included a swim in a thermal pool, a visit to the snow, a stay in a haunted hotel and some amazing food. I also shot some outfits while we were down there, but I’ll share those with you in another post. For now, grab a cup of tea and prepare for lots of photos…
Know your normal
Something I’m really passionate about is looking after myself as a whole – making sure I drink enough water, eating mindfully (and not feeling bad when I eat chocolate), sticking to a skin routine, and making sure I get out and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Part of that also includes looking after my health.
