I believe in dressing fearlessly. Wearing what you want because it makes you feel great, and not avoiding certain things because society tells us that we shouldn’t wear them. Crop tops, printed pants, bikinis, double denim, stripes, bodycon, shorts… I wear all of these things. And when I began my Fat Girls Shouldn’t Wear Stripes project in 2013, I had no idea how many women were like me – dressing fearlessly regardless of their size, shape and age. So many of you want to share your style with the world, and I think that is awesome! It’s something worth celebrating. View Post

I’ve been fat all my life. Seriously, my baby pictures are ridiculous with my huge chubby cheeks and folds in my elbows and knees. Super cute.

I have to be honest and admit that I’m probably one of the few plus-size bloggers who haven’t been fat shamed. I’m sure my day is coming (because lets face it, there are a lot of idiots out there), so I have some swear words and hand gestures prepared. It’s pretty sad that I’m preparing myself for nasty comments, but we all know it happens when you’re fat.

I wanted to be involved in the Fat Girls Shouldn’t Wear Stripes project mostly because the evolution of my style is practically a textbook case of following ‘the rules’ and then realising that they’re completely stupid! View Post

I’m inspired by other fatties being fat. I started reading fat blogs when I moved to South Korea, and until that point I had honestly believed that being fat meant I wasn’t entitled to being happy or living a life I enjoyed. It kinda sucks but it was a revelation I didn’t have to equate fatness with misery.
