Today I wanted to pay homage to not one but two of my style crushes. I’ve recently realised that they both really influence the way that I dress and the way my sense of style has evolved over the last couple of years, so I thought I’d put together an outfit that mashes their style together. Brunch Date
Due to our completely conflicting work schedules, my boyfriend and I only share one day off every two weeks – he works nights on a rotating schedule and I work days as well as a couple of evenings. That means that every second Sunday is reserved for hanging out with my dude! View Post
An anchor for the soul
There is an anchor that ties me to the ocean. I grew up in seaside towns and always gravitate back to the sea when I need to revive my soul. In Auckland we are lucky to have a lot of beaches and some great waterfront areas, which makes it easy to recharge. Today I went along to one of my favourite spots in Auckland, which has a great view of the city, to enjoy the peace of the harbour and grab a couple of photos of my nautical inspired outfit. Slouchy summer
I’ve got a confession to make. I’ve worn this maxi dress so much this summer that I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve worn it. I’ve worn it over my bathing suit, out to BBQs, mooching about the house… it’s been my go to dress because it’s soft, comfortable and it doesn’t wrinkle. View Post
Review: Zhenzi Shapewear
Sometimes when I’m wearing a figure hugging dress, I want to be able to smooth out my silhouette a bit so you can’t see my underwear or bra line. My usual reaction to shapewear is “nope, GTFO”, because it’s not necessary and I’m not gonna be uncomfortable just so you can’t see a bit of chub, but I spied this slip from Danish brand Zhenzi on the Navabi website and I’ve never tried shapewear in a slip form so I figured it was worth trying out. Think of me as your fashion guinea pig. View Post
