It’s Earth Day today, and in the past I’ve done things like spend an evening with friends not using electricity (backyard candlelit BBQs are so much fun!), but this year I wanted to take a moment to think about how we could be making more environmentally conscious fashion and beauty choices. It might seem like a small thing, and it might seem silly to some, but the choices that you make as one person or as a family, they add up. View Post
Lush Easter 2017 Unboxing + Giveaway
I’ve always been a big fan of Lush’s seasonal collections – for me they capture the wonder and magic that I remember from my childhood. The 2017 Easter collection is no egg-ception – there are chocolate and candy scents, carrots, Easter eggs, bunnies… There’s no shortage of magic and egg-citement here! Okay, I promise I won’t crack any more egg jokes. View Post
Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant Review + Giveaway
Brought to you by Dermalogica
I’ve been fizzing ever since I saw Dermalogica launch their Daily Superfoliant in the US a few months ago, because I really enjoy exfoliating my face. I know that might sound strange, but I’ve always loved it because it leaves my skin feeling cleaner and fresher, and looking brighter. Anyway, I waited for months to try the Daily Superfoliant, and because Dermalogica is one of my amazing blog partners I got the chance to try it out for a few weeks before it hit the shelves here! It’s being released in New Zealand today, so I wanted to share my thoughts on it and give you the chance to try it for yourself (yeah babe, that means there’s going to be a giveaway!). View Post
Review: Lush Sunny Day Hair Spray
Where I live it’s really humid and I’m one of those people who is forever trying to fight my frizzy hair and for a while it seemed like my knotty hair and the flyaways would win. I’ve been using the Sunny Day Anti-Static Hair Detangler from Lush for about six months now and I have to say that I’ve never received so many compliments about my hair as I have in that time! My skin story
Brought to you by Dermalogica
I was pretty lucky when I was a teenager – I had good skin and didn’t get many pimples. For me, my skin issues came later. In my 20’s my complexion was all over the place – sometimes it was dry, sometimes it was oily, and I had lots of breakouts. There have been times when I haven’t wanted to leave the house because of how my face look; I started wearing makeup to cover up my blemishes, and unsurprisingly that didn’t make it any better!
