For some bizarre reason, I’ve had a few people ask me to film a makeup tutorial showing what I use and how I apply it. I’m well known for being fairly average at makeup, so I can only assume these people are also cosmetics novices or they’re having a laugh. Hopefully option A, because I’ve filmed an “easy makeup for beginners” video. If it’s option B – feel free to have a laugh at how basic this is, because honestly this is as good as I’m gonna get and I’m okay with that. View Post
Review: Body Glide
Every year I get people asking me what I use to help with thigh chafing, or chub rub. I’ve written about this a few times before (here and here). Lots of people have suggested Body Glide, so last summer I picked some up and gave it a go. Now that I have thoroughly tested it over the last year, I want to let you know what I thought. View Post
My Skincare Routine | Dry + Sensitive Skin
It’s been a while since I last talked about my skincare routine, and lots of things have changed since then so it’s time for an update. My skin is often dry and sensitive (and even more so when the seasons are changing or I’m traveling a lot), so I’ve learned to stick with what works and not change products too often. It’s all cruelty free, and all of these are things I’ve been using for a while unless otherwise mentioned. View Post

Review: Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner
I’ve had a love/hate relationship with solid shampoos and conditioners for quite a while now. I really like the idea of them but many of the ones I’ve tried just don’t give me the result I want and I’m yet to find one that I’ve loved enough to keep buying it – until I tried the Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner. Review: Remington Revitalise Facial Cleansing Brush
When I clean my face it takes me about ten seconds – splash it with water, rub a bit of token product in for a few seconds, then wash it off, right? Nope, apparently I’m doing it wrong. A lot of us are. It takes time to clean your face properly, you need to work the product in and give it a chance to do it’s thing. I’ve made two changes to my skincare routine that make it take a bit longer, but it makes my skin feel so much nicer! View Post
