Boohoo.com got in touch with me recently, and invited me to join in a game of Wardrobe Bingo! Fashion should be fun, and this is a wonderful way of both giving you a sneak peek inside my closet and pairing up clothes that I might not usually put together. This is how it works:
First, I picked 5 items of clothing for each part of my body – 5 items of footwear, 5 accessories, then 5 tops and 5 bottoms. Then I numbered each item in each category from 1 to 5, and randomly picked numbers to put together my final outfit, mashed up from different styles and clothes from my wardrobe!
1. Havaianas Silver Fern Jandals
2. Therapy Texture Boots from Number One Shoes
3. Rave Canvas Shoes from Number One Shoes
4. Venice Canvas Shoes from Number One Shoes
5. Garage Ballet Flats from The Warehouse
1. Textured Knit Snood from ASOS
2. Purple Suede Belt from City Chic
3. Brown and Seafoam Green Color Block Clutch from L.A.R.K.
4. Wayfarer sunglasses by Ray Ban (gifted)
5. Fascinator by Mita
1. Gothic Glamour lace shirt from Harlow (gifted)
2. ASOS CURVE Exclusive Jumper in Stripe from ASOS
3. Space Dye Hi Lo Top by City Chic
4. Yourself short sleeved knit top from Farmers
5. Garage short sleeved tee from The Warehouse
1. Trousers from TS14+
2. ASOS CURVE Full Skater Skirt in Longer Length from ASOS
3. Kate Madison Gypsy Skirt from The Warehouse
4. Kate Madison Denim Skirt from The Warehouse
5. Yourself Maxi Skirt from Farmers
Next, I drew numbers out of a virtual hat (thanks random.org) – this chose my outfit for me!
And then I put it all together. What do you think?
This is totally something I would wear! Switch the fascinator for the purple suede belt, and you have a great casual every day outfit. Switch the purple sneakers for ballet flats and you have a more dressy look (if I wore heels I’d choose those, but I don’t, so … yeah).
The knit top is one that’s been in my wardrobe for ages (I think I’ve had it about ten years!), but I haven’t really worn it because it’s quite short (it comes to my belly button). It looks great with a high waisted skirt though, don’t you think?
I’ve not worn this fascinator before, but I think that I might have to wear it more often. Now I need to find more posh headwear-suitable events to attend!
Head over to Boohoo.com and check out some of their amazing accessories and shoes, and think how you could style them in to your current wardrobe!
What do you think of my final outfit? If you were styling this outfit for me, is there anything you’d change?

This is fun. I wonder, is there an app that allows you to do this and then generates outfits for you? If there isn’t one already, there should be!
That would be amazing. Kind of reminds me of Cher’s wardrobe in Clueless!
