Torrid + Boohoo Clothing Haul

I know it’s been a hot minute since the Black Friday sales were actually on, but it took a while for some of my stuff to arrive and then the holidays happened, so we’re a little late. I still wanted to share what I picked out though, because some of these pieces are great staples, and they’re things you should know about, and I’ve got some info to share about fit and shipping and whatnot.

I thought that my favourite item was going to be the “Merry Xmas Ya Filthy Muggle” Jumper from boohoo, but unfortunately that was a bit of a bust for me. I ordered the size 24 thinking it would fit but possibly be a bit snug but nope. It was a terrible fit on me and I was incredibly disappointed. I hazarded a guess that it was more like a 20-22 in fit, but I gave it to my friend who is more like a 16 and it was an ideal fit on her, so that’s a pretty massive difference in sizing. I remember when the boohoo Plus range was first released a few years ago and there were fit issues like this, so here’s hoping that they’re not back sliding with their fits.

The boohoo Plus Oversized T-Shirt ended up being my favourite piece from this haul, because it’s super lightweight and perfect for the super hot weather we’ve been having this summer. And for $9 how could I not love it? It comes in a bunch of other colours as well so if, unlike me, you prefer something a little bit more colourful than black on black, there’s heaps of options. Actually, I’d love to see this in prints as well. Just everything, okay boohoo?
