Who would have thought that I had ruffles in my wardrobe? The Aussie Curves challenge this week had me really stumped, but after pulling most of the contents of my closet out and going through it, I found ONE thing that fit the theme.
I had good intentions of photographing my ruffles outfit while I was up in Whangarei last week, because I know that my mom has some clothes with ruffles that aren’t black. However, my brain and body were both in holiday mode, and it just didn’t happen. You know how it is.
I quite like this top, because the ruffled detail makes me feel quite feminine. Unfortunately it’s winter and quite chilly, so I’ve paired it with a ¾ sleeve tee. I like to layer up (especially when it’s cold and I’m going in and out of buildings for classes), because that allows me to remove layers as my body temperature changes. Feeling a bit hot? Remove a layer. Temperature dropped? Add a layer back on! I am nothing if not prepared.
I loving this big slouchy bag from The Warehouse’s new spring range, I was gifted it at the preview of their new collection (which I’ll be writing about next week so keep an eye out for that) and love the fact that it’s so amazingly roomy. I wish I’d had it for last week’s oversized challenge, it would have been perfect!
Also exciting: I’m wearing make-up that is not neutral toned! I threw myself out of my comfort zone and was inspired by the make-up that the lovely Cassie Ace did for me back in January (check it out here), what do you think?
