Earlier this week I was complaining that I didn’t have anything pink in my wardrobe other than the sad representation I hauled out for the last pink week. Fortunately, Katie from SpijkerKat’s Closet reminded me of the peplum I got recently! So glad that someone else knows the contents of my closet so well (also, pretty sure that means it’s time to clean out some of the things in there)…
I wanted to wear it a little differently from the time I featured it for peplum week, so I decided to tuck it in and wear my skirt high waisted.
I also managed to find some cute flats in my closet (I have no idea how long I’ve had these, but they’re so old I suspect they may be on their last legs…), which are black with pink polka dots and pink trim. Ah-dorable.
Meagan wears:
NOW Soft Peplum Top in New Melon from Kmart
ASOS Curve Exclusive skater skirt in longer length from ASOS
Violet Flower Crown c/- Circle of Wolves
Long Zip Luella Wallet from Number One Shoes
Rave Polka Dot Canvas Flats from Number One Shoes
This is SUCH a great colour on you. Soooo beautiful.
In my opinion, the headband is what totally rocks out the whole outift and makes the pink, pinkier hehe.
I love the pink against your hair colour, and that flower crown is gorgeous!
I love the flower crown 🙂 Beautiful!
Thanks! I love flower crowns, I need more of them 😀
that flower crown with your hair – you totally look like a fairy, gorgeous!
And lol sorry! i have a freakish memory 😛
Yes! I’m a spring fairy 😀
And I love your freakish memory!

aaah such a cutie photo at the end there! I think you did very well for a no-pinkster which is the opposite of me lol.
It’s a nice outfit and I adore it when people think outside the box with HOW to wear their clothes. I’m always wearing clothes in ways they weren’t intended or pairing articles nobody else would think to pair (so I’m constantly told) and I like to see other brave souls out there like me lol 😀
Thanks! I love wearing my clothes in ways they weren’t intended to be worn! Growing up, there were really only a couple of local stores that sold affordable plus size stuff (internet shopping wasn’t really a thing), and everyone seemed to have the same things, so changing the way I wore things was one of the only ways to personalise my look 😀
well you’re doing a bloody great job of it girl! rock the curves and secret clothing morphs 😉
Why thank you 😀
And now I know what a peplum is, lol. I don’t love pink, it makes me look splotchy, but it looks fab on you, you’ve got the pretty milky skin tone for it. I’m so happy I found your facebook page, we need someone representing us big girls in this country!
Thanks Jenny! I’m glad to be representing the curvy ladies of NZ 😀
I’m not usually one for pink either. I think it depends what shade I wear, as other pinks don’t look so fab on me. This shade, however, LOVE!

Love this outfit!
