As a blogger, every time I meet with a new client or PR, it’s like a job interview. Making that good first impression is always important!
Monochrome is always a good colour choice – it looks smart and is the perfect match for my bright copper hair!
4 tips for choosing an interview outfit
- Keep it modest – avoid low cut tops and short skirts
- Be professional – if it’s something you’d wear to a nightclub then chances are it’s not suitable for a job interview
- Choose comfortable clothes – if your clothes are ill-fitting or you don’t feel comfortable in them, that’s one more thing to feel nervous about!
- Keep your accessories simple – I keep it limited to my watch, stud earrings and a handbag
Like most days, I keep my makeup clean and simple – BB cream, brows, lashes and a touch of lippy. Someday soon I’ll share a post about the cosmetics I’m using at the moment.
My main reason for choosing this outfit is because it makes me feel awesome. I think that confidence is the most important thing you can wear, whether you’re going to a job interview or not (well, if you’re going to an interview you should probably wear clothes as well!). Wearing something that makes you feel great is a great way to help boost your confidence, especially if you’re feeling a bit nervous!

I’m always worried about what to wear, so I have been enjoying the Aussie Curves posts for ideas. I’m currently “between jobs” so it’s relevant to me right meow.
I like your top Meagan. It reminds me I should go check out Farmers, haven’t been for a while.
Hey lovely lady, good luck with the job hunt! I know the market is a bit tough for some people at the moment.
Farmers has an amazing range this season – I’ll be posting about that in the next week so keep an eye out! x
